3 youths have been convicted of murder at The Old Bailey. Aged between 16 and 20, they all face life sentances for the brutal and unprovoked attack on 16yr old Ben Kinsella in Angel last year. Ben was stabbed 11 times in 5 seconds, while out celebrating the end of his GCSEs.
Ben's killers all had criminal records, and one was a known drug dealer. The crime has been highlighted in the press, perhaps because this was not a gang-on-gang killing but a brutal and senseless attack on an innocent person.

Ben's father stated "Knife crime is now sadly embedded in the very heart of Great Britain. Parents live in fear until their children are safely home. It can be for a wrong word, a wrong look, or a wrong post code ..."
